How much is too much to keep terrorists from suitcase nuking 4 or 5 US cities?,, Do you not think when they get them they won't use them?,, How much money or lives did WW2 cost in todays numbers?,, after all Japan and Germany didn't want every man, woman and child dead in this country like these terrorists want,, and yes the terrorists have declared war on us and since Carter no President except Bush has done a damn thing about it,, 87 billion or a trillion who cares,, the very survial of our country is at stake,, Bush probably should have allowed a hit a year here so dumbasses with their short memories on exactly what the objectives of these antichrists are,, (it's to obliterate us off the face of the earth) don't forget,,

want every man, woman and child dead in this country like these terrorists want

That is a separate issue, which is - was there any connection at all between Sept 11 and Iraq. Most analysts say no. If there was, then the whole story we have been told - about Afghanistan and the Taliban - is off.

Carefully, very carefully, reread what you posted. Now envision one of your loved ones taking the hit.

87 billion or a trillion who cares,, the very survial of our country is at stake

I think Ted Kennedy used that same line when talking about universal health care.

If you think this effort in Iraq is so worth the money being spent then why don’t you have the courage to suggest that American taxes should be raised to pay for it?

The better question is how will our budget deficit look if the psychos set off a couple of nukes in our country? Most people have short memories, and thus are short sighted.

The problem is, this $87B is just the beginning of the big spending spree on "security" - wait until Big Spender Bush comes back next year for another $100B. Then what?

The other problem is that Big Spender Bush won't even consider vetoing the $400 Billion "free" pill spending spree he's got waiting in the wings to buy votes next year from old people.

Under Big Spender Bush, Big Stupid Government just gets bigger, more expensive and more stupid.

Hell, if that's what we're worried about, we should've taken out Pakistan, North Korea and Iran, not Iraq.

Amen. Maybe the Senate can cut back on its spending.

Your argument has no merit. Our pin headed English language mangling El Presedente' Jorge BOOOOSH is spending 87 billion of our grand kids money and every 24 hours betwen 4000 - 6000 illegal criminal trespassers are crossing over our borders. This is by the (new) Department of homeland insecuritys' own records. These are the ones that "got away". How many of these people do you think are strawberry pickers?
