Former U.S. Attorney found dead; represented the federal government in the trial of Branch Davidians

A former federal prosecutor who defended the U.S. government in a lawsuit filed by surviving Branch Davidians was found dead of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound, authorities said.

A police officer checking on an abandoned vehicle found the body of former U.S. Attorney J. Michael Bradford shortly before 7 p.m. Tuesday.

He said the officer found the body and a shotgun about 75 feet from the car. Cain said it appears the gunshot wound to the head was self-inflicted.

I believe both the gun and the body were found 75 feet from the car.

You misread yourself.

Read it again. It says "the body and a shotgun about
75 feet from the car." But I'll agree with you about Clintonites:
they do tend tend to suicide themselves quite a bit.

Coinky-dink that this happens just as rumors of Wesley Clark's involvement in Waco (he was commandant at Ft. Hood at time) and subsequent FOB status start to surface.

Clinton White House first official act...firing of all U.S. attorneys. Surely he'll attend the memorial of one of his first appointments.

Unfortunate this man didn't see any other way out of his dispair.
