Here's one that was tried on me that I couldn't work into a tagline:

The sad thing is, he thought it would work on me because so many other guys fell for it before...

I got the striped paint one from the tale of an Airman who arrived at my boss' previous shop. They sent him out for striped paint, and he was gone the rest of the day. They laughed their butts off at him for wandering around the base looking for striped paint, but a few weeks later they began to suspect (after noticing that he was VERY intelligent and technically capable) that he had really gone back to the barracks and spent the day playing video games.

Man, I miss the Air Force sometimes.

Personally I think the real shame here is that anyone takes this person's view as a seriously held political belief. That sign makes it perfectly clear that her entire political philosophy is little more than willful ignorance of the issues combined with an "I know you are but what am I" level of argument.

The left has embraced the idea of impeachment bcause it is (apparently) what the adults do when a president breaks the law, and since they don't like our current pesident, he must have therefore done something to deserve it.

You want a caption how's this:

Thanks for your note.

Actually we didn't pass a resolution calling for impeachment.

We just passed a motion directing me to write a letter passing along 6 questions raised by the community.

That letter is posted on the city's website at www.santa-cruz.ca.us.

I don't know whether or not President Bush committed impeachable offenses and I certainly agree that it is not my job to opine about that on council time. I do believe however that it is part of my job to pass along concerns and questions raised by my community to those higher in government.

I understand of course that you disagree with me and I appreciate your taking the time to comment.
