This Mexican baby girl survived the Arizona desert but her young 19 year old mother did not. She died of thirst! Arizona vigilante hunters of human beings like Roger Barnett have forced Mexican migrants to take more and more perilous paths in the hot arid Arizona desert. It is believed that Barnett is part of a US government sanctioned terrorist effort designed to deter Mexican migrants from crossing the border.

I don't advocate killing, particularly of children. I was always told you go into a known bad neighborhood, your asking for trouble. Why don't they not cross OUR border illegally and know "You make your bed, you lie in it!" The link to the site provided by Cindy highlights all the ruthless vigilante killings and incites striking back or how to get around vigilante's. So when a Freeper suggested on another post to go to Spanish sites, well, that poster is right!

...then she can pardon them same as they did with the Puerto Rican terrorists.

To what end? To buy a few more votes? Or do you see a more sinister motivation? When a large majority of Americans say they basically want the borders closed and neither party seems interested in implementing the will of the people, something is amiss. I wonder what it is?

Tell me about it..Yes, the majority are hard working hispanics appreciate the opportunity to live in the USA...I know that....I grew up with it..But a good lot of them, in some areas of CA have real issues to deal with.

Here is a sample from my hometown, where the sons of Illegal immigrants join gangs, and speak english very well, and take over large sections of territory and fight over it with other Mexican rival neighborhood gangs.

It is not just the illegal's, but it is their offspring..Who are legal, and many are in poverty and get brainwahed by MEChA, Lulac, etc..and think they are entitled to special treatment, and just treat America as if it is rental property.

Harsh sentences necessary part of gang reduction

Harsh sentences necessary part of gang reduction

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jaime Hernandez EDITORIALS A Monterey County judge's gavel came crashing down on young Jaime Hernandez this week. He was sentenced to an astonishing 180 years to life in prison for murdering three Salinas teenagers.

At 17, Hernandez's life is over. If he's lucky, he might see freedom when he's about 80. He might as well be dead himself. Salinas' gang subculture claims another young man.

While this city continues to battle gang activity and paces itself for the long run toward achieving a more peaceful community, the courts must stand firm against the most violent. The hard-core gang members, those career criminals who exist solely to kill, maim, boast and recruit more young people to join them, should expect the same treatment from the courts that Hernandez received.

Judge Gary Meyer refused to treat Hernandez as a juvenile during the sentencing. The defendant was tried as an adult under Proposition 21, which voters passed in 2000. That law gives local prosecutors the authority to determine if a juvenile should be tried as an adult, particularly in gang-related cases. Killing three defenseless people -- Meyer described it as a "turkey shoot" -- certainly qualifies as an adult crime, and is deserving of an adult punishment.

On the evening of Sept. 1, 2002, in classic gang retaliation, Hernandez gunned down three rivals as they listened to music in a car parked in an apartment lot. Hernandez, then 16, used a 9mm semiautomatic pistol, a very adult weapon.

He was convicted in June of three counts of first-degree murder with gang and gun enhancements.

The harsh punishment doled out to Hernandez may be difficult for a caring community such as Salinas to comprehend. But what we do know is this: Gang violence claims too many lives. It has for years in this community. Too many families are torn apart from the tragedies. Too many Salinas residents live in fear of gangs. Their quality of life is lowered because of their proximity to gang turf.

The rest of Salinas is not much better off whenever gang violence flares up as it has in the past month.

Even the most committed, well-intentioned city isn't going to eradicate gangs or catch every kid in its social safety net. Gangs represent a minute percentage of the city's 155,000 citizens. Even fewer gang members are hard-core criminals. But each and every one must be dealt with firmly and convincingly in the interests of public safety and peace of mind.

In a January editorial we said, and it bears repeating:

"The criminal justice system is more than ready to deal with the hard-core criminals. Defiant gang members who show no sign -- or desire -- of wanting to change for the better, those who choose a violent path, who continue to use guns as a source of power and pride, face a penal code ... and a team of county prosecutors bent on seeing that justice is carried out."

So let the judge's gavel sound a powerful message: that Salinas gangs who commit violent crime will be prosecuted and sentenced to the full extent of the law.

A caller to a West Coast talk show who claimed membership in a militant Latino group says the U.S. must acknowledge much of the Southwest belongs to Mexico and pay the proper amount for it – or else.

Or else what?...I am so annoyed about these bombastic statements that I am just about to puke.

Now I am not a historian, nor a North American, but I am an European with some History knowledge (in Europe you are forced to learn International History);

To my knowledge Mexico held California for only 25 Years before loosing it to the Yanks. So, that means that, the Yanks tooks care of the California State for well over 150 Years.

Let me get it straight, 150+ Years of investing in the social infrastructure etc.,etc., and all that sudden we ought to give this State to the Mexicans on the whim?

You ought to be shi&^ing me! Just because some "pendejo" sez so?

You know statements made like this shows how much the Mexicans know about real life/issues. They are still living in La-La land thinking about young Castro/Lucy/Desi,Carmen Miranda times.

Since when is a third world country like Mexico is going to conquer US of A. Mexicans are just a bunch of blowhards trying to cover up for their short commings.

Speaking of wich when was the last time the Mexicans were doing anything, on the international level except crying poverty in order to cover their impotence/inability to tacle their internal mess created by their ever corrupted governement

Indeed. Maybe they should come and try to take it??? BS bluster; nothing more. One wonders what they might expect to gain from their seditious rhetoric.

I couldn't have said it better myself! You are sooo right, they are going to tell us how to live better? Right. And if it wasn't for Spain, they wouldn't even have a common national language... Spanish! It is sickening to listen to.
I even heard one idiot say, "the Aztec mariachis have developed music to its present state." What? Name one guitar, one brass instrument, string or otherwise, that originated in Mexico? For that matter, where did the name "Mexico" come from? It is sickening, but lies beget lies, and the ignorant follow it as gospel.

Anglos have the land of the southwest illegally

We kicked their grubby little butts in a war that THEY DECLARED AGAINST US. It doesn't get any more legal than that.

We ought to just roll the border a few hundred miles south, depopulate that zone, and call it a 'buffer zone' where no one can live. If you're in the zone, you're free game.

Or else what? Or else they (MECHISTA types, not all hispanics) will remain uneducated, unskilled, and abuse our socialist welfare system, join gangs, commit crimes in large numbers until every decent law abiding citizen has sell and move out of Kalifornia....at which time they can vote themselves into Aztlan.

Maybe Russia will sue or threaten to take back Alaska
or the French the Louisiana Purchase
or even the Indians for getting ripped off on that Manhattan deal?

I could see the Dems giving away the southwest if it bought them enough votes
to stay in power...what a little treason among politicans harvesting..votes...

pay Mexico for the land we won in war? UMMM. HELLO....WE ALREADY DID.

http://www.sfmuseum.org/hist6/muzzey.html

By the treaty concluded at Guadalupe-Hidalgo, February 2, 1848, Mexico was required to cede California and New Mexico to the United States and to recognize the Rio Grande as the southern and western boundary of Texas. In return, the United States paid Mexico $15,000,000 cash and assumed some $3,250,000 more in claims of American citizens on the Mexican government. Considering the facts that California was scarcely under Mexican control at all and might have been taken at any moment by Great Britain, France, or Russia; that New Mexico was still the almost undisturbed home of Indian tribes; that the land from the Nueces to the Rio Grande was almost a desert; and that the American troops were in possession of the Mexican capital, the terms offered Mexico were very generous."...

Oh please, … tell me that those number values for the payment were in 1848 dollars and not adjusted number values for today's dollar.

If that’s the case then that little punk caller is even more stupid and Dr. Navaro of UC Riverside needs to find another line of work for pushing crap and calling it teaching.

Drug smuggling. They do that very very well. If they did anything else that well, they wouldn't need to smuggle drugs. But that is one project the whole country got behind --- especially the politicians and they've succeeded.

That mother committed child abuse --- sure her goal was to come here and get that baby on Medicaid and food stamps and herself an easy life on welfare which to them improves their situation, have a bunch more welfare babies --- obviously a 19 year old with small children isn't coming in to work.
