[history]
"On Oct. 7, the people of this state have a choice. In 1964, Ronald Reagan gave a speech called 'A Time for Choosing.' That is what we face here today. We as Republicans have a choice to make. Are we going to be united or are we going to be divided? Are we going to win in unity with our common fiscal conservative principles or let the liberals win because we are split? Are we going to fight Davis and Bustamante, or are we going to fight among ourselves? I say, let us unite for victory."

My governor refused to sign The Pledge, and he has never raised taxes. He takes every opportunity to cut my taxes, not increase them.
Didn't Alabama's Bob Riley take The Pledge?

And I think this is also great:
""Let me tell you what being a conservative means to me. I'm a conservative because I believe communism is evil and free enterprise is good. I'm a conservative because Milton Friedman is right and Karl Marx is wrong. I'm a conservative because I believe government serves the people, the people don't serve the government. I'm a conservative because I believe in a balanced budget, not budget deficits. I'm a conservative because I believe money that people earn is their money and not the government's money. And when you look at the drivers' license outrage, I am a conservative because I believe in the rules of the law, not political pandering."

Hard hitting!
Terminate, terminate, terminate = excellent.
This needs to be repeated by every conservative republican
and I can think of several RINOs that need to have it drummed into them!

Boilerplate, Yes, one constantly hears about how communism is evil.

Now, let's see the quotes from a man with an intellect, Tom McClintock...I am waiting.....McClintock is a good man and a good conservative, but he couldn't win even if Arnold dropped out of the race and threw his support at McClintock
This is the battle cry:"....We as Republicans have a choice to make. Are we going to be united or are we going to be divided? Are we going to fight Davis and Bustamante, or are we going to fight among ourselves? I say, let us unite for victory."

Perhaps if you and others who find him good would support him, he would win.
I wonder whether you ever ask yourself such a question.

Hrumpf. Tsk tsk.
Don't be so grumpy!
After putting up with Davis, Feintstein & Boxer these past years, Arnold's words are music to my ears.
Cheers, CC :)
