Fascism in the Name of Security
New York Newsday ^ | 9-14-2003 | Jimmy "I write from the inside of a bottle" Breslin

Posted on 09/15/2003 5:28:27 PM PDT by Conservative til I die

To the Justice Department of John Ashcroft, John McNicholl is a lifelong criminal. He also is a Catholic, and I almost never waste my time pointing this out, but in matters with John Ashcroft, I believe that his psalm-singing, right-wing, country-road religion leaves him somewhat suspicious of Catholics, if not more.

$100 if anyone can tell me exactly WTF the drunkard is trying to say here. All I can gather is something about the War on Terror causing a pogrom against Irish Catholics...

Mr. Breslin obviously hasn't been to mass in a while. If he had, he'd know that we Catholics are psalm-singers too. A Psalm is sung at every Catholic mass.

That being said: why is it that the English and Irish guys at my office quake with fear every time their visas come up for renewal, while the illegal Mexican invaders who work for the same company sail serenely through life without a worry?

I'm from a low IQ state ?You are in a demented state,Breslin. You're the bigot. You are the hater, the rabble rouser, the unfair one.Let's see Ashcroft is clamping down on "visitors" and some are Catholic so that is why they are targeted?Really sick thinking.

That this American government of bigots from the Low IQ states can run over our Bill of Rights, grabbing somebody with no warning in the dark hours, is a terrorist act by psalm-singers.

Speaking of bigots.

Fascism is a national socialist political philosophy which lives on the same side of the tracks as Mr. Breslin.

Added security gives more freedom to law-abiding Americans.

The freedom of feeling more secure never applies to crooks, miscreants and anti American liberal snobs!

The Justice Department people hold a hammer for Irish immigrants. Work and paying taxes doesn't count. Irish in Texas and Florida report detaining and deporting. The immigration people deny this, which means it is true

From the sample paragraph above, It looks like the Post writers and editors think in disconnected ideas and put them to paper in what just barely qualifies as sentences. This is a newspaper?

Well .. I don't think it's the Psalm singing itself that's the problem. It's the way Ashcroft sings the Psalms .. Ashcroft sings them the same way I do - in tongues. It's the only way - and it's a wonderful communion with God.

There is no way this method of singing Psalms has anything whatsoever to do with Catholics - whether liking them or disliking them .. the issue is moot!!!

Those of us who speak in other tongues are not crazy and we're not monsters, and we're not weird or strange. We're just normal people who have tapped into a worship of GOD which is wonderful .. and quite the contrary to most beliefs about it .. I would say all of us wish the whole world could experience this wonderful worship.

This scares the hell out of non-believers. It scares them so much, they have to find something evil, or menacing, or angry, or whatever about it .. because they can't deal with it.

What an absurd rant and waste of bandwidth by a paranoid ignorant nitwit...

...Although I may just assume you've snuck out of your cell to access the asylum computer.

It's the only way? How do you know?

PS - I'm a former Pentecostal who is now Catholic.

"It's the only way"

It's my personal opinion! You don't have to agree!
