Hey, if there's any truth to this story of the plot (Skeeter, Dirty, Sneezy, Doc, Grumpy, Scott, etc.), then they're gonna charge him and the others with conspiracy. If they charge Scott with conspiracy, that means the statements of his co-conspirators will be admissible as NON-hearsay.

Now back to Snotty. There was sightings of Snotty in bars and/or hotel bars in Fresno right after Amber outed him and after he left the house of he and Laci's friends that served in their wedding. It was not the time when he was with his employers. It was around the time we were speculating that he had other women in the Fresno area other than Amber. I will see what I can find.

Well, maybe MG thinks he would have a real shot at discrediting a known criminal's testimony, vs. his client's, who had no previous criminal history. Hey, I'm just thinking outloud about what a criminal attorney might do to save his client's life, especially if the criminal attorney thought he really didn't have a snowball's chance in h#ll.

It seems like, according to Carroll, that this started out to be an insurance scam. SP wanted Laci's car stolen so that he could collect the insurance and get her a new car. That was discussed at the first meeting between SP and Carroll, if I understood it correctly. There was a subsequent meeting with Dirty, Skeeter and Carroll, but when Carroll heard the word "kidnap", he got outta there until that conversation was over. I haven't seen the word "murder" in any of Carroll's statements, but the fact is, Laci did get murdered, and a witness has said that a van similar to or like Dirty's and Skeeter's was parked across the street from SP's on the 24th. It really doesn't make sense that he would pay someone to kidnap her, then murder her himself.

If a kidnapping victim dies, it is a felony murder and can carry a death penalty.

Adding a kidnapping angle does not benefit the defense in any way, as it just piles on more criminal liability.

A kidnap/murder charge is more likely to get a DP conviction than a simple murder charge, because it carries with it the aggravating felony of the kidnap and all the premeditation that implies. Kidnap/felony murder laws are probably the most stringent ones left in CA and in most states (the Lindbergh Legacy).

A solictor of such a crime would be equally guilty as the one who actually committed the crime.

Skit and Dirty is probably the ones that rammed the front of Snotty's warehouse and probably why Snott was afraid to stay at his home and whereabouts unknown for awhile. Snott was probably on the run from Skit and Dirty because he could not pay up or he knew S & D was going to take him out next in order to shut him up.

So, okay, my theory about MG's strategy is all wet!

What about this? On the night of the 23rd sometime after Laci and her mom have talked, the SP doorbell rings! Surprise! It's Carroll, Dirty and Skeeter. They overtake SP, tie him to a kitchen chair (and gag him, of course), and make off with Laci. Scott struggles frantically to get free, but he knows Laci and the baby will be okay, because it's just an insurance scam, right? I know it needs a bit of work, but....

So, all we have to do now is wait and see if Carroll is really telling the truth, right? About getting out of there when he heard the word "kidnap", I mean.
