What, everybody doesn't want to just put these slugs up against a wall and pop em once or twice? I am surprised, surprised I tell ya, surprised!
Nope. the U.S. Constitution, Article III, paragraf 3 offers the prescribed constitutional means for their removal, by congress:
In all cases affecting ambassadors, other public ministers and consuls, and those in which a state shall be party, the Supreme Court shall have original jurisdiction. In all the other cases before mentioned, the Supreme Court shall have appellate jurisdiction, both as to law and fact, with such exceptions, and under such regulations as the Congress shall make. But unless they have been found guilty of having given aid and comfort to the enemies of the United States- or its Constitution, which is certainly possible, they should more likely and reasonably instead be removed from their offices and jailed for felony perjury of their oath of office. Of course, if congress refuses tio do their job, or if the federal courts attempt to rule against Article III, paragraf three, then the ENTIRE constitution is null and void, and the remedy you suggest can be applied. But at that point, there are no congressmen, federal judges or Supreme Court any more anyway. They're just another bunch of well-dressed crooks.
And hanging is more appropriate than shooting, as with the Plumer gang of Montana, which also included a corrupt public official, though in that instance it was a sheriff.
