Moby's an idiot. i went to see him in Boston back in December. He went on for about two minutes with some screed about how he has to apologize on behalf of Americans everywhere because of Dubya. Gee, thanks, asshole.
The audience was full of a bunch of Berkely, Emerson and BU students with silver spoons up their arses, they cheered roboticly. It made me realize how much more mature you are at 25 than at 21.
Anywho, after the show, Moby was leaving the concert hall (The Paradise, which is the BEST place to see a show in Boston), when some kids went up to him and beat the crap out the lil' man and his pansy posse. The next day Moby went on the radio saying that he wasn't sure who did it but he was fairly certain it was members of the "religious right" trying to silence him.
Yeah, Moby, the biggest problem in Boston are those roving gangs of religious right vigilantes who go around "silencing" people on Comm. ave at 1:30AM, you f***ing moron.
After that, some kid called up claiming that it was his buddies who beat up Moby because they were Eminem fans (for those who don't know - there's a feud). and they didn't like Moby beacuse (paraphrasing: he was "gay" - not homosexual gay, just gay in a straight geeky p***y kinda way.
Moby didn't say anything after that.
