WASHINGTON - Inspired by the civil rights movement of the 1960s, tens of thousands of people are expected to climb aboard a caravan of buses this month for a modern-day Freedom Ride to the nation's capital to call attention to the plight of the estimated 8 million to 9 million undocumented immigrants in the United States.

This Freedom Ride is an absolute outrage. It is a slap in the face to all native born Americans and to legal immigrants. By hijacking the ideas beyond the Freedom Rides of the 1960's civil rights movement, it makes it even more of a slap in the face to Black Americans. And because Black Americans have been more adversely affected by illegal immigration than most other groups, this is just an ABSOLUTE OUTRAGE. Our so-called elected representatives are pandering to people who are in this country ILLEGALLY. We, the citizens, don't count anymore and it's becoming more and more and more obvious everyday. If this so-called "Freedom Ride" is permitted to go on as scheduled (I believe it already started) and nothing is done, nobody arrested, no one outraged, then we know where WE stand in America. NOWHERE. Illegal aliens already seem to have more rights than we do and now they are DEMANDING more. I do believe it's time to take the fight to the streets. Otherwise nothing will ever be done to stop this outrageousness and our children and our grandchildren will be second class citizens of what was once OUR country.

Have the INS commandeer the buses and drive straight back to Mexico.

"Have the INS commandeer the buses and drive straight back to Mexico."
In a sane country that cared about its citizens that it exactly what would happen. In this country which betrays its own citizens every single day, day after day after day, it won't happen.

THEY HAVE NO RIGHTS, JUST DEPORT THEM ALL.

"They have no rights, just deport them all." No, they seem to have more rights now than we do and our so-called elected "representatives" want to give them more and more and more. This is going to destroy this country.

Story by Sergio Bustos, a hispanic writer who thinks illegal immigration is great! Isn't that special? He calls them "undocumented" immigrants instead of illegal aliens. Typical.
I hope the INS is waiting for all those buses when they reach their destination. What a haul that would be. Of course I'm dreaming, Bush and Fox would never allow that.

WOW!I can't think of a better time to call out the military and have a MASSIVE ARREST!Save us the trouble and money to hunt them down.
To: vikingcelt
I don't know how many of the demonstrators will be illegal aliens as opposed to those sympathetic to the cause, but it sure seems brazen that a person who resides in this country illegally would go out and demonstrate against our government. And it is frustrating to know that in the interest of political correctness, our government officials will allow them.

These people are so arrogant that it's unbelievable to me. Now they are trying to dictate American immigration policy. Who's country is this now anyway? I'm really, really beginning to wonder. When all the Quisling politicians are done with their pandering and their treachery and the United States is a third world cesspool with no middle class left and very few taxpayers, just who exactly do they (our so-called "leaders") think is going to pay their salaries and pay for the costs of running this country. Basically under the Constitution it is my understanding that the function of the federal government is to make treaties, defend the nation and to secure the borders. That's it. They have failed us utterly.

What about calling attention to the plight of the taxpayer???

How long are we going to put up with this bilge?

"How long are we going to put up with this bilge?" Until we have a revolution. That's what it's going to take. Our so-called "leaders" no more represent us than they represent people in some other galaxy of the solar system. I am totally and thoroughly fed up and I am extremely blood boilingly angry. I'm not going to just sit back and see our country taken away from us by a bunch of blood sucking parasitical leeches. A lot of people feel just the way that we do. A WHOLE LOT OF ANGER is boiling just below the surface and one of these days it will erupt. People can only take so much bullshit and treachery.

If they came across at a port of entry with proper documents authorizing entry into the US they are Migrants and they do have a right to be treated fairly. If they do not meet all of those conditions they are illegal aliens and the only right they have is to be speedily tossed back over the border.
