"First killer bees .... now super rats"
This doesn't smell right, it sounds as if they are claiming that someone created a new species simoply by crossbreeding rats with muskrats. I don't believe it.

An Uzbek specialist bred the species by crossing an ordinary rat with a muskrat, he said. I thought he was going to say he crossed a DemocRAT with a Libertarian...

The rats "are killing numerous farm birds, are damaging grape and corn crops, and have destroyed 14 hectares of grain in one of the districts. These rats can climb trees and are destroying apples, pears and other fruit. The rat invasion may also give rise to different epidemics," parliament member Dooronbek Sadyrbayev told Interfax. The rats frequently attack people and young children are especially vulnerable.
Absolutely nothing new going on here other than no one had been taking a pending explosion in the rat population seriously.

Put a substantial bounty on their smelly little heads, that ought to at least clear 'em out of congress.

I thought Superrats were the Democratic party officials who had at-large delegate privileges at their convention.
