Repeatedly calling Conservatives smug and stupid is an odd way to get Conservatives to consider your ideas.

I teach a class called "Technology and the Culture of War," which uses Victor D. Hanson's "Carnage and Culture" as one of the textbooks, and basically the theme is "Why the West Kicks Butt," with a subtheme of "Why the U.S. is the Baddest Butt-kicker of All."

My definition is this: Stupidity is paying tens of thousands of dollars to have your kid receive an illiberal education instead of a classical liberal education and to see your offspring enter adulthood thinking like Ted Kennedy and Hillary Clinton. My definition is this: Stupidity is not inoculating your children in advance. I put up with a lot in college, such as a course in leftist (anti-war) indoctrination disguised as English II, for example. But if anything, seeing the enemy close-up and in-your-face confirmed my conservative attitudes.

(If "Peace is Patriotic," then "Appeasement is Patriotic" too? How about "Surrender Is Patriotic"?)

Nah. College students these days are getting priceless exposure to how manipulative and irritating Liberals are. I doubt any but the most gullible leave college impressed with Liberalism, let alone convinced.

"Integrated Learning", huh? I wonder if they'll teach a class on how a liberal arts degree integrates into the real world and earns the holder something better than minimum wage? Didn't think so.
