Wesley Clark Calls for US Attack on Iran
In his book on terrorism, democrat presidential hopeful General Wesley Clark calls for a US attack on Iran. He argues that Iran, with its mass destruction weapons programs and its support of terrorism, threatens the US national security more than Iraq ever did. (Alireza Taheri)
Former US President Bill Clinton and Senator Hillary Clinton support the candidacy of General Wesley Clark, possibly in the hopes that he would step aside and accept to become a running mate of Ms. Clinton, if they later feel that the state of economy makes President Bush vulnerable, writes William Safire in the New York Times. (Behnam Nateghi, New York)

Clark is an idiot but fear not, the democrat party is controlled by the lunatic anti-war left and a rainbow of lunatic interest groups.
They will not look kindly on Clark once they know he is a "pre-emptive warmonger" like they claim President Bush to be.
Howard Dean will win in Iowa, New Hampshire and probably even South Carolina and that, as they say, will be that.

Speaking of the pro-American attitude within, seems to have been rather quiet over there for some months now, at least I have not seen anything in the headlines lately.

Can't you just picture General Weasely Clark riding that A-Bomb right out of the plane with that pinched face looking up at you with a maniacal grin?
Not that he's cuckoo or anything, but he does have a demonic look about him even when he's smiling. Gives me the shudders.

"In his book on terrorism, democrat presidential hopeful General Wesley Clark calls for a US attack on Iran."
Urging such an action is so spectacularly stupid that I stand in awe. That country is a hair's breadth from overthrowing the mullahs and he wants to attack? Doesn't he recall the effect when our EP-3 crash landed in the PRC? It played right into the ChiComs' hands and allowed them to foment nationalism against the "imperialistic Americans".
I don't care if he's a general or not. He should be smacked.

It's even funnier if you read it in Jackie Mason's voice ;-)

Sounds like Gert let Wes stay up late again last night playing Risk with Maddy and Hack. He must be trying to make the classic up the far east play for Russia. My guess is Hack will get pissed any minute now and toss the gameboard in disgust over losing Asia to a West Pointer while Maddy negotiates with Wes for a piece of the Balkans.

Carter's foreign policy created the problem in Iran. Now Clark intends to exacerbate the situation. This is why the Dim Bulbs must be pushed further onto the back bench!
