The FIS is an series of interviews with Freepers to help us understand where our compatriots are coming from. Interviews will be posted twice weekly and we hope this helps us unite and stir up the conservative base. If you have a suggestion of a Freeper who merits interviewing, let me know by Freepmail. Suggesting your own self is perfectly acceptable.

Here is the latest interview from the Freeper Interview Series. This interview is with Congressman BillyBob. If you would rather not be pinged for these interviews please Freepmail me to remove your name. If you want on the list do the same. Teaser:

How would you describe yourself?

6' 5", washboard stomach, rippling muscles, long windswept blonde hair, chiseled features, and piercing green eyes - but that would be really inaccurate.

if 'activism' is defined as "Using a fire hose on dirty, smelly hippies".

Chad, it looks like you've done your part to clean the environment. :o)

Chad, you're a hoot! I always enjoy interacting with you, whether it is discussing politics, music or equine puns. You're one of my favorite FReepers.

In the navy I had lots of encounters with Greenpeace and the Sea Shepherds, so I would say that was the most enjoyable bit of activism I was involved in - if 'activism' is defined as "Using a fire hose on dirty, smelly hippies".

I just looked in my dictionary, and that very definition is there (with a note that "dirty, smelly hippies" is redundant).

I'm afraid of birds. Oh wait, that's Cathryn. Never mind. I have an irrational fear of shoes.

Thanks, Chad. Now the whole world knows! (As if it already didn't...)

Great interview and great to know you are out there fighting so hard for our side, Chad :-)

P.S. The only shoes you have to worry about are Birkenstocks... they seem to make people's heads go funny...

My computer wouldn't let me go any farther than "What do we need to do to get America back on track in the job market?". And yes, you cruel people, I AM logged in. ;))

Chad, your interview confirms what I already perceived about you from reading your posts. You're smart and talented, a loving husband and father, an obviously compassioncat person, and you use your great sense of humor effectively. I especially enjoy the imagery created by your "Cross-Border Catapult" and "Liberal Hive-Mind."

Pillars of The Earth is also one of my favorite books. Have you ever read The Haj by Leon Uris? Another great historical novel.

To SOL, I've been waiting for this one!!! Great job again!

To Chad, >>Two beautiful daughters, both in middle school<<

I was talking to Netmilsdad last night and swore you were 20 years old. Are you one of those "Weekly World News" headlines?? You know, "Four Year Old Fathers Twins"

Great Job!
