radu, welcome back! Thanks for the post, areafiftyone. He didn't promote this at all. Good man.

It's awesome," said commander Col Michael Linnington. "It's great for morale. "He's a macho actor. Soldiers identify with action movies and action actors. He's a guy's guy."

Bruce Willis in the war zone to thank the troops, ping!

Bruce Willis for Senator from NY or California!

 Thanks, Tonkin!

Kudos to Mr. Willis for supporting our troops. Willis for governor of California might not be such a good idea though (he's a patriot, but not necessarily a conservative/Republican)...

Appearing for the troops is exceptional.

In 1992 he called Clinton and Gore "bozos" and in 2000 called Gore a "knucklehead".

Perhaps his anti-recall appearance is fallout from the failed Planet Hollywood deal with Arnold, personal, not political.

I do recommend we give him the four seconds with Saddam--it will save us a season of network defense and prosecution "experts" hyping the case against the Butcher of the Ba'ath House.

But on condition we get it on tape. Baddest action scene of the new millenium: Die Hard: Headbutting the Head Butcher.
