You know an arrow is untracable. You can't trace it to the bow it was shot from. unlike a gun...

The only way to tie it to a particular person would be possibly fingerprints...

For all practical purposes, so are bullets. The best you can do is demonstrate that a bullet may have been fired by a specific gun.

Well thats true but placing a bullet with a gun is far, far easier than an arrow with a specific bow. Bows leave no distinguishing marks on the arrow.... :)
