I doubt even Ted Kennedy would slander our armed forces.

Oh, I dunno... Did you see His Bloatedness on the Senate floor the other day? He thinks we're in a quagmire. That doesn't help soldiers' morale at all.

Just the fact that you would compare Kosovo to Iraq, shows just how uninformed you are. In case you don't remember!!! We spent 12 years trying to get Iraq to comply with the cease fire agreement they signed in 1991. We spent 30 billion dollars enforcing the no-fly zones and continuously took fire from SAMS against our aircraft over those 12 years. We also witnessed the feckless U.N. pass 17 resolutions they never even considered enforcing, and you have the nerve to compare Kosovo to Iraq.

Burkeman1 you are clueless!

Shouldn't you be out protesting with A.N.S.W.E.R. right now?

Or shouldn't you be donating to Howard Dean's campaign?

You want the US to enforce UN resolutions? Geesh- I guess that means we will attack Israel next since they are in violation of many UN "resolutions". Funny- I thought the USA Constitution was our law and guide and not some foreign useless body that has never been granted power over the United States.

No, I wanted our Military to resume hostilities the very first time Iraq violated the agreement in 1991 that allowed them to remain a nation. In case you have forgotten mr. Clueless, we lost several hundred Americans in the Gulf War and I'm the type of person who thinks the deaths of those brave Americans should not be for nothing. But unfortunately we had a coward like yourself in office from 1993 to 2001 who took the easy route and passed the buck to the U.N.

Do yourself a favor and join DU, you will be in like mind company

On CNN? Hard to believe, but if you say so.

I think they should send Teddy over to Iraq for a little look-see. I can send you a link to his speech, if you want your blood pressure to go up. His website leaves out the part where he dramatically throws his papers into the air. Sheesh.

Bush I was more of a conservative than his son who is listening to non conservative voices. I supported Gulf War One at the time. But came to see it as just an excuse to justify a huge bureacracy in DC that needed something to do after the cold war. If there are three iron rules of bureacracy- it is survive, justify, and expand. They did after the Cold war and 9/11 was their saviour.

Yeah, Bush had better be careful or the Russians will head the Kursk in our direction.

Oh, wait...

I agree with an A+ for Bush's foreign policy. I wonder, in all honesty, where we would be today if Algore had won the election. I can only imagine and the picture is not pretty.

Thanks, and I wasn't joking. Especially after learning this am that Putin wants President Bush to sign a "Non-aggression" pact with the N. Koreans.

Now those N. Koreans became wards of bill clinton and he has been running around saying that all N. Korea wants is "respect".

Most people think that China is the string puller of N. Korea.

What an F'N Idiot you are. I can respect an antiwar stance, but to think that the Military Industrial Complex just waited around for a 9/11 to happen (and secretly plotted to use it for their own well being) is just looney.

9/11 was a wake-up call for many people that this war has officially started. It was going along for many years before without most people paying attention, now it official.
