It is one thing to change immigration policies to allow more people into the United States legally, a move I would support in principle (though the implementation is admittedly complicated by security risks). But it is quite another to outlaw people coming to the United States with the left hand and then to reward those who have broken this law with the right.
Such hypocrisy breaks down any sense citizens have that the country's laws are meaningful and deserving of respect. If the government isn't overly concerned about people violating its directives, then how important can the directives really be? How much moral weight can they possibly hold? And why bother following them (and perhaps other laws you don't like) in the first place? .......

Hillary has never been in favor of the recall. And she must have known about this years in advance. Her testimony during the Whitewater investigations was replete with "I don't RECALL". When Davis heard about this, he immediately called her for her support.
