Yesterday evening, I was channel surfing. Landed on CSPAN and watched a moment of live coverage from the House of Representatives. Some woman (D) was reading (poorly I might add) a statement criticizing and condemning every action of the Bush Administration. Switched to the Senate and heard the same thing. By the time I had spent a minute or two at CNN and MSNBC, I was ready to scream. Republicians are so inundated with attacks from the leftist media and every democrat who can get to a microphone, it is a wonder the entire country hasn't been poisoned by these lies.

I really do not like Lyndon B. Bush in the least, nor the rest of his semi-socialist blue-blood family.

That said, this stuff is over the top. It's nothing less than slander and character assassination.

Fight back against the Bush and Limbaugh smears yes, but against the Schwarzenegger smears, no way at this time. First let's determine if they are even a smear.

When these long published allegations against Schwarzenegger are finally examined and they are determined to be false then I'll fight a smear campaign but if they are true then let Schwarzenegger reapt the results of his behavior. I'll join the moral crusade against him.

I can't appreciate any member of this forum having any moral indignation regarding these long discussed charges and incidents involving Schwarzenegger but then I couldn't understand why any reasoning member of this forum would support Schwarzenegger in the first place.

Happy to defend the President and Rush. Arnold deserves what he gets if just half of these disgusting actions are true. He's been lying throughout the campaign. So, his people say he didn't call Prop. 54 supporters "right-wing crazies." Well, that isn't what the folks at Ward Connerly's group say. With you on Rush and the President; Arnold can go his own way.

Excuse me? What exactly is the US Congress supposed to do about media attacks on public figures?

Did you ever hear of limited government?

The First Amendment?

Hello?

MAD AS HELL? FIGHT BACK AGAINST THE MEDIA SMEARS OF BUSH, RUSH, AND ARNOLD! CLICK HERE!!!

1. The Bush smears are against Rove, and are junk anyway. Nothing to them.

2. Rush's McNabb smear arose because he forgot to wear two seperate hats. End of story.

2(a). Rush's drug smear, if there's anything to it, probably arose as a result of his cochlear surgery. We're in wait-and-see.

3. Arnold's grope smear, if there's anything to it, arose as a result of his succumbing to the temptations of Hollywood. We're in wait-and-see.

I'd suggest not suggesting moral equivalencies. Circle whatever wagons you like, but make sure there are three or four distinct circles.

You know, a liberal acquantence of mine once said that one of the main differences between liberals and conservatives in the House and Senate are that the liberals will always fight to the end, using any tactic they please. Conservatives are wimps and will not fight for what they believe in.

You know, after the spending bills, the judicial nominations, etc., etc., he might have a point.

Another thing he said was liberals in general never stop, never give up. The liberal population of this country will not stop, even when they win. Winning only makes them bolder. Convervatives, when they have a win, take a breath, relax and think "Finally, the country is coming around". In other words, conservatives do not have the perseverance that liberals do.

Why do I say this? Well, I believe there is a lot of truth in this. Remember a few months back when Rush said that the Democrats are finished, over. They do not stand a chance in the next election and will lose seats in both the House and Senate? Well, he did. And I believe that made many conservatives listening happy and caused them to relax, thinking that the country was finally coming around.

When will we learn? Liberalism will never be finished. But, when you get them on the ropes, you go for the kill. You do not take a break. As far as the Senate Conservatives are concerned, they are worthless. They do not fight, they do not have passion, and are always pushed around and/or back down to the Libs. They no longer play hardball.

I will stop my rant now as lunch hour is coming to a close for me. But, the libs have had a VERY GOOD WEEK and they will not sit back and relax. This is going to get much, MUCH worse. They smell blood. They WILL go for the kill.

I have said the following line many times in the past:

NEVER UNDERESTIMATE THE DEPTHS TO WHICH LIBERALS WILL STOOP FOR POWER!

Tom Delay did a wonderful job standing up for the President a few weeks back and challenging the Democrats.

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/988755/posts

It was WONDERFUL.

Too bad the press ignored it.

Quit freeping a great Conservative and start writing letters to the Liberal media to clean up THEIR act.

I would love to see more public discussion on socialism. It seems that the biggest advantage of the Dems is their ability to promote socialism without being labeled as the socialists that they are.

Libertarians should help the GOP defeat the Dems until they are relegated to third party status. Then bring on the fight between the GOP and the Libertarians.

Damn demented democcrats cannot talk about solutions, they don't have any to offer so instead to cover up their lack of ideas, incompetence, and miserable record of failure, they resort to vice, treachery and lies. The Clintons added another dimension to this which is fear, intimidation and sometimes some people have all of the sudden lost their beloved pets or....well, just something to muse about.
