Rush made a tremendous blunder in making those comments. It was stupid, false and totally boneheaded. McNabb is not the issue here but rather some people's inability to recognize a stupid, indeed moronic, comment by one we generally love here.

McNabb was correct when he said "I thought we were beyond the race thing."

Do you think Donovan McNabb overreacted to Rush Limbaugh's commentary? Do you think his assessment that Limbaugh is a racist is wrong?
In order to know whether I should consider Donovan McNabb a "race baiter," as you call him, I would need to know what McNabb said. Can you give us some quotes in which he overreacts and calls Rush a racist? Thanks.

Well hold on now. Rush says something that gets him in hot water. Rush quits ESPN. And I should be mad at McNabb- a third party who was minding his own business before all this started? That doesn't make any sort of sense.

Sighs, so rush says something about McNabb that could be construed as being raciall motivated. McNabb responds and now I'm supposed to boycott Cambell's soup?

I listen to Rush sometimes. I agree with Rush on a lot of things. But I think Rush was an idiot for what he said. Yeah, McNabb has had a tough start to the season but he has also been an MVP, had himself voted by fellow players (not the media) into the Pro-Bowl three times.

Passed for over 3000 yards in each of those seasons. Ran for more than 500 in each of those years too.

His skin color should have never been brought up like that.

Period.

Personally, I wish rush would have just stuck to the radio show.

Donovan McNabb is just another race baiter. I will not be purchasing any more Campbell's products as long as Donovan McNabb remains your spokesman since he is your spokesman, Campbell's apparently agrees with his opinions regarding this issue with Rush Limbaugh. Rush is no racist, but told his opinion about the MEDIA. Whatever happened to free speech. Why does your spokesman make it a black and white racist issue?
