Rush made a tremendous blunder in making those comments. It was stupid, false and totally boneheaded. McNabb is not the issue here but rather some people's inability to recognize a stupid, indeed moronic, comment by one we generally love here.
McNabb was correct when he said "I thought we were beyond the race thing."

I agree. It's time to hold people responsible for their actions. Rush must be taking pills or something. Only a Partisan could and would defend such a stupid remark. I would expect more from people but that is impossible. Rush is not my consevative guiding light. He is a guy on the radio.

Except the next time a head coach position opens up or the next quarterback is promoted to 1st string. We will never be beyond the race thing until affirmitive action is discredited completely. What Rush said was that affirmative action is alive and well in the NFL and media and damn the real stats.
