I am a member of one of those churches listed in the article and we don't have any multistep programs, we are quite fundamentalist and have substantial bible study classes that are doctrinally sound. I think some of you are getting the wrong impression of these churches.

The reason these churches are growing is that they are fundamentalist, with sound Christocentric doctrine. The churches that have elected to soften the doctine are dying off.

Do they reject creeds, saying "No Creed but the Bible?"

It used to be that a person's creed identified him or her. Since every denomination claimed to believe the Bible, saying "We believe the Bible" proved inadequate. For example, what does your church believe about infant baptism? How do they summarize that?

I don't attend one on the list, but the one I do attend uses examples from Willow Creek and Saddleback. We have weekly attendance of over 3,000 and hundreds participate in mid-week bible study house groups. My family left the Lutheran church (ELCA) because it LACKED the biblical base our new church has, and was too concerned with relativism and eschewing God's unchanging word for modernism. Our new pastor has the guts to say no to abortion, homosexuality, and sex outside of marriage which our ELCA church did NOT do. It is so refreshing!

I suspect you are not using the term "fundamentalist" as it is usually used. For example, a fundamentalist church will usually not cooperate with a Billy Graham crusade because they will not associate with the broad mix of pastors that take part in the campaign. Perhaps you mean that your church is "evangelical".
