I support a person's right to use tobacco or any other recreational substance on their own property or any property whose owner has agreed to itThen why are you against a person being able to use his own property to manufacture LEGAL drugs?

I'd like to see pot legalized, but not heroin or meth, and I would vote in referrendums accordingly if need be.Really? Then why are you aligned with MrLeroy?

Really? Then why are you aligned with MrLeroy?Explain "aligned". Leroy's a good guy and makes intelligent arguments, but we certainly have our share of disagreements. Would you consider yourself "aligned" with the gun grabbing Robert Wood Johnson Foundation since you agree with them on the drug war?

why are you against a person being able to use his own property to manufacture LEGAL drugs? As I believe I've explained to you many times---perhaps as often as jmc813 has explained his position: In my opinion, local zoning regulations reflect the restrictions that in a free society would be enacted through voluntary mechanisms (such as easements and covenants).

Why don't you tell her your thoughts on legalizing hard drugs? While we're at it why don't you give us your position on affluent conservative talk show host junkies?

Although I suspect we now agree that the Jets suck. Bah. I agree, but keep in mind that if they win this week, they will have the same record they did after 5 games last year, and we all know how that ended up.

Good heavens! Now we can't even discuss, on a conservative forum, anything about tobacco regulation without you guys getting into a freaking hair-splitting nitpicking argument about who said what on the WOD!
I for one wish you would take the illegal drug argument elsewhere.

No, I do not believe that even a local group of property owners would mutually contract to disallow smoking on their property. Why would they?

Leroy's goal is legalized hard drugs. And the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation's goal is preventing reform of the drug war. Are you aligned with them?

Can't you find an illegal drug thread somewhere else and get on it? I'd like to read about and discuss tobacco regulation.

No, I do not believe that even a local group of property owners would mutually contract to disallow smoking on their property. They have, many times. It's called a no-smoking ordinance.

I for one wish you would take the illegal drug argument elsewhere. If you look into it, you'd be surprised at the parallels between the WOD and the War on Tobacco, as well as the War on the Right to keep and bear arms. Studying the drug war might help you prepare better for your particular battle in the tobbacco spectrum by knowing what tactics your opponents are likely to make in the future.

I for one wish you would take the illegal drug argument elsewhere. It's the same argument---only tobacco is not illegal YET. (As for cinFLA's pointless whining, believe me, NOBODY wants that around.)

That's not a mutual contract but tyranny of a majority.
