I'm no expert on Missouri politics, but it looks like the makers of Budwieser have slapped Gov. Bob Holden pretty hard for his anti-gun position.

Hmm. I might have to take up drinking just so I can thank them.

Always drink Bud beer. The people of Hawaii love Anheuser-Busch. During the Olympics in Atlanta, 50 teens from Hawaii were stranded when their travel agency went belly-up. Anheuser-Busch stepped in and flew those kids home. No other brew will do.

Huh. Isn't this a big change? I thought 4 or 5 years ago Bud was againt the CCW bills proposed at the time. Perhaps this is a sign that we are winning the culture war.

The Busches traditionally support Dems. Legend has it that FDR was a puppet for Gussie. This could be significant.

They support alot of wrong things...gay agenda, illegal rights, etc. Besides, someone should tell John McCain that his mealticket doesn't agree with him.

Bud Light is always sponsoring gay events. I gav eup on them long ago. Coors light for Bunker.

Heard a news item today saying that Holden is about to make an "important announcement" concerning CCW shortly. Will he bow to the Missouri Democrat Left he needs to beat a possible primary challenge by the popular (to Democrats) Claire McCaskill by attempting to court challenge CCW, or will he now announce that he favors CCW? More likely the former than the latter, but you never know.

I believe I'll wait until I hear what John Ross has to say about it. But it looks good.
I'll not consider Bud's move as anything near overwhelming support for our cause, but I'll settle for their lessening any enthusiastic backing of our adversaries.
We'll see.
