Larry Nichols is the guy who, throughout the Clinton presidency, kept saying that "indictments are coming down" against Bill and/or Hillary, that it's be "soon now." He apparently worked with the Clintons in Arkansas in the ADFA - He finally lost credibility with everyone except himself, and he's not interviewed any more on the talk shows, etc.

We are going to need him more as we swing into the election season. I hope he will be there.

Rush's listening audience will go up as a result of this because people like me (and probably you) will want to hear the whole story and, having heard it, will want to watch Rush go after the Dems who sponsored the political attack on him. Rush actually needed a little shaking up I believe. Too much golf, NFL and cigars and Rush is wonderful for me lately. I want him to go for the throat and I think this episode will do the trick.

It is going to be one hellava year. Great fun if you are a political junky and I am confident that the good guys are going to come out on top. Arnie will be Governor. Rush will stay #1 and Bush will kick the butts of the Dems by means that only Karl Rove could possibly think up.

I feel so sorry for Rush. Don't know if he's gotten hooked on pain pills, but it ain't unheard of.

Al Franken, who evidently is acting as a Dumb party spokesman and moralizer, was on CSPAN's Washington Journal a few years ago. A caller upbraided him for his cocaine use. At that time, I had no idea who Al Franken is or was, but he looked for a minute like a poleaxed steer. Didn't deny it, if I recall correctly. Al wanted Susan to regain control of the show.

So Al probably isn't the appropriate man to be showing up on CNN with the glee he exhibits.

Anyone my age remembers the comic strip "Smoky Stover". One of the signs attached to Smoky's two wheel fire truck said "People who live in glass houses should foo in the barn".

Might be a good idea for people who live in the public eye to remember this quaint phrase.
