BTW, Ed Harris has disappointed me a few times in the past but he was a perfect gentleman in SC; hardworking, friendly, and kind under pressure. Sounds like Ed Harris reverts to being a Good 'Ol Boy, when (1) He is sober, and (2) His Marxist wife, Amy Madigan, is not around.

I suspect Ed Harris adapts well to any environment. He seems very sensitive and observant.
He really was astonishingly nice. He frequently made a point of learning the names of 40+ lowly locals in a scene. My daughter wasn't suppose to ask for his autograph but he was very sweet and gracious when she did.
I've sometimes wondered if his wife is the source of many of his more obnoxious moments.
