New anti-Arnold commercial

Posted on 10/06/2003 9:49:02 AM PDT by Hildy

Just saw the new anti-Arnold commercial. It goes something like this: Close-ups of women against a white backdrop.
Voice over: If you have a wife, a mother, a sister, if you know a woman from work then...
YOU CAN'T VOTE FOR ARNOLD SCHWARTZENEGGER.
Blah blah blah...and then they have a quote from an interview in some entertainment magazine about sticking a woman's head down a toilet. But with no explanation that it was from a movie. It's outrageous and despicable. How low will these people go.

No interest in Kalifornicate's masochistic convulsions. Please remove me from the ping list.

Thanks for telling us how we are not wanted on this site -- we will certainly keep that in mind!

I've seen that over and over; I wonder how Jim Robinson feels about this self-appointed bunch trying to run conservatives off this forum.

All this is just a preview of what bottomless depths they will go to in the coming presidential race.

I thought McClintock was a decent guy. I have since changed my mind. Staying in the race makes him look like an idiot, especially after he said he wouldn't be a "spoiler".

you have no idea how angry we Conservatives are at the massive Selling Out of our values and our state's economy.

Give it a rest.

You don't hold the patent on "values" so stop acting like you do.

The other people in your state have a right to voice THEIR OPINIONS and VIEWS, whether they agree with you or not.

That doesn't make then un-American or un-conservative for that matter.

You are telling the truth!

And I think it's safe for us to go ahead and make a list of who on this site will be giving them a lot of help.

I've only been reading these threads for the last three or four days. I don't see how you all have stood it.

Guilty Conscience much? Who said I was talking to you?

In fact, by your behavior in rationalizing for Clinton part deux, I'd say we hold the "character" and "principle" mantel all by our lonesome selves, thank you very much. (And I thought opposing (R)nold's policies made us da bomb)

The other people in your state have a right to voice

Yeah yeah, nice strawman, I'm "oppressing" them. Who said they didn't? Claims of "Victimhood" from "Conservatives" is very very weak and pathetic trait to have.

Then again, you are the one feeling the need to rationalize that you are a Conservative when no one claimed "Howlin" wasn't.

Who said you were opressing them.

I just said they have a right to their opinions. And if they win, you should join them in trying to get your state under control.

Somehow, I think you'll be a bigger problem than Davis is.

You hope Arnold's head is crushed in a huge hydraulic press? I'd settle for him losing the election, and Tom McClintock being elected.

Who said you were opressing them.

Why you did with your whine; The other people in your state have a right to voice THEIR OPINIONS and VIEWS, whether they agree with you or not. That doesn't make then un-American or un-conservative for that matter.

If that isn't complaining of oppression, what is in the New Republican Party?

And if they win, you should join them in trying to get your state under control.

How exactly is (R)nold going to get my state under control? Do even FATHOM why I am fighting against his so called Republican "leadership?"

Do you even FATHOM what your guy is going to do about the -$38.2 Billion debt currently in limbo in illegal Loans?

You're the one telling the citizens of your state that their opinion isn't the right one, not me.

And he's not MY guy; I live in North Carolina.

But if you'd rather have Davis, just keep it up!

'Time was when a real woman could deal w/an unwelcome grope by saying "Back off", slap his face, and that would be the end of it. Women who wait 20-30 years to whine about it...especially for political purposes...are oh-so-weak-poor-little-me females.

There was a great quote in the Washington Post today:
"Arnold didn't kill anybody"
... followed by something like "I think he'll make a great governor."

Yep. Great Qualifications!

I wonder how he feels as well. Someone asked him to come on last night and tell them. Guess I should go check to see if he answered that post since Arnold supporters keep being asked to leave FR!

It has been sickening watching the CA RATS and the LA Slimes doing what they do best. If I lived in CA, I would leave.

Now you are quoting the Washington Post? This gets funnier by the day -- Freepers quoting the LA Times, NY Times, and Washington Post to support their candidate! Never thought I would see that happen!

I truly enjoy your panic and hysteria. Governor Schwarzenegger is going to be a great Republican Governor, and there is nothing you can do about it. Are you going to support his actions in cleaning up Sacramento, or are you going to constantly try and denigrate his administration?
