The Rats are irrelevant at this point. The only outstanding disputes involve the differences between the GOP House map and the GOP Senate map. In theory, if the Republicans fail to produce a map by Oct 15th, then the special session would end and either the House or the Senate Dems could skip town again to deny a quorum. Doesn't seem like they plan to do that.

I wasn't clear enough in my comment. I realize the Rats are irrelevant in the legislature assuming they maintain a quorum. I was thinking of the legal theatrics they plan after the final map is signed into law.

dithering is deadly. most maps are 20-1-11 or 21-11 maps.
pick one and be done with it!
