The majority of Americans (about 70%) think that homosexuality should be legal and that homosexuals should not be discriminated against, but also not have special rights. About 90% think homosexuality should be decriminalized

These numbers and statistics are quite startling in that they are bogus at best, and the only way to achieve anything close to these percentages is a push-poll. I suggest that unfortunately you have been directed to a Gay, Lesbian, Transsexual, Transgender, advocate site, and have fallen for the propaganda.. Thats OK, we are all subject to the propaganda that fits our views and agenda.

The Homosexual lobby would love to have everyone believe that their behavior is anything more than tolerated, but secretly they, and everyone else knows that the participants in that lifestyle are held in the lowest regard. We who must live and work amongst them are repulsed and revolted by this unnatural behavior, but have taken on the stupid "Live and Let Live" attitude for practical purposes. I believe that they and you, I assume for some reason you have some stake in this, would be better served if this issue would returned to the privacy of your bedroom.

Most of mankind wouldn't be so personally hostile to this debauchery if it was merely another sick, cloistered, cult, and practiced as it was for millennia behind closed minds and doors, but the insistence of the movement to use our clean children, for their filthy toys is still disgusting and criminal. I further suggest that the judicial advances that have recently bolstered the egos will be the undoing of their cause as well as that of their advocate organizations if they continue to DUMB DOWN DEVIANCY.

The curtain has been pulled on this charade, and behind it stands a gargoyle with a snarl, and diseased, with not too much longer to live... sorry.

Obviously I believe in democracy. That's why you don't see me sneering at anything 70-80-90% of Americans believe.

Hi Carlo - well, I apologize for misinterpreting what you meant.

I see Arnold's election as a Good Thing.

I don't believe homosexuality is a disease. God, in His infinite wisdom, made some people homosexual. I don't approve of sexual promiscuity, but I don't think homosexual acts should be criminalized.

You disagree. Fine. But most Americans agree with me, and the numbers I cited aren't bogus. I got some from Gallup and some from the Washington Post.

BTW - just to make it clear, I am female, heterosexual, married for almost 25 years, never experimented with gay sex, not attracted to women.

Over the years I have been blessed with several gay friends. They aren't pedophiles. They're hard working, honest, solid, good people.

Here is an interview with the national director of the Log Cabin Republicans. I especially agreed with this comment:

"Guerriero: I happen to be a conservative Republican, but I define conservatism as government staying out of my personal decisions, and recognizing everyone as valued members of the American family. It was a conservative Supreme Court that just wrote the most significant legal decision in the history of gay and lesbian civil rights. It was Anthony Kennedy, appointed by Ronald Reagan, who wrote this decision that we're heralding as the greatest victory in the history of the gay and lesbian civil rights movement. It's a reminder that you can be conservative in America and believe that gays and lesbians are an equal part of the American family."

I see Arnold's election as a Good Thing.

I am ecstatic over our capture of the California trophy, and without many reservations. I believe you are sincere in your strong beliefs regarding the Homosexual agenda, on that small but significant issue we do indeed part company.. but seldom does everyone I enjoy the company of, agree with everything I hold dear.. so don't take it the wrong way.. have a great day.

Re: "homosexual agenda" - some (maybe most?) homosexuals do want to be able to marry. I think for the most part this is being driven by AIDS, and the desire to be able to obtain low cost health insurance as a "spouse."

I don't know any other social "benefit" out of being married that can't be obtained via contract.

Gay or straight, you can make your "significant other" your heir via your will, you can put them on the deed to your house, share joint bank accounts, you can make them your guardian in the event of incapacity.

Neither do you crusader dear?

You will not be "marginalzed...err...ignored"...rotflmao?

You think everyone is going to join your little pro-abort, pro-dope psuedo-conservatism because Arnold won?

Damn right I'm happy to see Davis and the Dems get clobbered but you are spinning.

If you're waiting for Pubbies to all simply morph into moderate Dems, don't hold your breath.

Btw...you're cross threading again dearie.

Nope, we're here already. Especially Generation X, Y and Z. Get over it.

Just go back to your country club and knock back a few bourbons, and rail about how the "niggahs" are taking over and ruining everything, your time is over.

Isn't that sorta cheating? If you need spousal insurance your either don't work (begging the question why?) or have not got your own suffician insurance (again, why?)
