Some defend iSLAM because they are greased with Saudi oil money.
Some defend iSLAM because they like its fight against Christianity.
Some defend iSLAM because they like its fight against the Jews.
Some defend iSLAM because they like its fight against that other guy’s religion.
Some defend iSLAM because they are sleeper elements of a fifth column in our country.
Some defend iSLAM because it is their faith and they will be murdered by their ‘brothers’ if they leave.
Some defend iSLAM because they are misogynists and the cult gives them what they want.
Some defend iSLAM because they are as primitive as it is.
Some defend iSLAM because they like its fight against America (because their turd-world nations are so far beneath America).
Some defend iSLAM because it’s the popular thing to do.
I swear, some of them would defend the Aztec cannibals or the Thuggee cult if those religions of peace were alive today!

At any rate, iSLAM intends to be the death of America and freedom and every other religion on the planet.

The part about the men converting to Islam is disturbing, but if they did it just to avoid a hassle with the in-laws, who cant relate to that?

All in all I see this as a good thing. When the wives get to the US they will be the BEST type of PR for America as respects their friends and relatives back in Iraq. Hearts and minds and all that....

And the divorce rate in the U.S, is 50%.. So what are you saying? That they don't last any longer than the average marriage? Or they're a little shorter than the average marriage? Doesn't seem to me they're marrying for different reasons than most young people marry. Are you a mind-reader? Or you can just tell from this brief article and never having met these women that they don't love these men and are only marrying them to be doctors in the U.S.? 'Cause that's pretty good if you can tell all that.

I know ~15 guys who have married foreign women. Not a single couple has divorced.

I hear sob stories from guys that took the plunge. I must look like a shoulder to cry on. We held my son's birthday party at a skating rink, I'm sitting in a booth watching the kids, the guy in the next booth stikes up a conversation and goes on for over an hour about how his mail order wife moved her family over here, left him and took their son, won't let him see the boy.

Another guy married a Russian doctor, she got her license to pratice and he just wasn't good enough anymore.

Same story from a regular customer where I am employed, in another instance one local guy kept ordering them and murdering them. I think he murdered about four over a decade. You and one other person are the only ones I have heard give a good report on the practice. I'm sure there are success's but those you don't really hear about. You hear about the ones that blow up.

That was my impression -- After all, normal relationships aren't considered newsworthy. :-)

I have never seen actual statistics on the success ratio of American/Non-American marriages, but I would very much like to see such a study.

Long time since I was in the military, but at one time we had what was known as General Orders and leaving your post before being properly relieved was a big one. I don't understand their CO's actions. If they broke their General Orders they should be courts martialed. PERIOD. It has nothing to do with why they left their posts and whom they married.
