I was doing nothing of the kind. I was pointing out the faulty nature of your argument by means of reducto absurdum (showing that it has absurd consequences).

You're the one who said it's all about belief versus atheism, and not about particular religions, not me. Well, Osama and the jihadis are unquestionably on the side of belief and therefore, according to your own argument, on your side.

But of course they're not really on your side, or my side, or on the side of any genuine conservative, freeper, or any patriotic American, and this illustrates what's wrong with your argument. Your bigoted and myopic particularism prevents you from recognizing that you have many cultural allies, even if they don't share all of your beliefs.

There are many atheists, agnostics, secularists, non-Christians (even some Muslims) of all varieties who are genuine political allies. Even though I'm an agnostic, I certainly recognize there are many conservative Christians, and some (theologically) liberal Christians, who are my allies. OTOH there are plenty of Christians and other theists who are dyed in the wool, hard-core leftists.

IOW, your argument, in #3057, that "[t]he fight going on in America is between religion and atheism," is just wrong. There are theists and agnostics or non-theists on both sides. This is just a fact.

Each abuse report and its corresponding post stands on its own. If you think we're gonna hash through hundreds of posts to see "who started it" you're nuts. If you do not want to take the chance of having an abuse report attached to your post (and your account log...)

We are a family arent we and it hard for all to get along all of the time, there should be a forum where members can go with antagonist allowed to follow on that ONE forum.
