I grew up with my parents blaming the puppet masters for the Great Depression. I think they were right.
Certainly they are scheduling a big crash economically sooner than might be thought.
But, The Lord is going to use it as discipline on a selfish, wayward, rebellious planet and that's far too true of our nation's citizens--even many claiming to be Christians.

I prefer to concentrate on the Giver of gifts. Talking about gifts this way is like majoring on minors. Most of the talk comes from the quacks that walk among the church. Every quack has a "prophecy" or "vision" that says nothing one could not find in the Bible. Real prophetic predictions are a thing of the past. The evidence is all around. Just look at all these wacky postings by Quix.
Many people are spirit-filled without being a pentecostal type. Methodism isn't a pentecostal type church but there are many spirit-filled Methodists. Don't paint us all with such a broad brush, topcat.

Being spirit filled does not mean pentecostalism or the type of person you think of. Being spirit filled means you are full of the spirit of God. If he speaks in tongues, fine. If he doesn't, fine. We don't know all of Bush's giftings because he doesn't brag about them. He has much insight and is a good leader. There are many other things about him that could be giftings.

Hey, if God used a donkey for his purposes, he can and sometimes does use people like this cousin. The Word, even if it's preached by a non-believer, is STILL the Word, no matter who is saying it.

It's scriptural, but it's also been fulfulled. Just read the context in Acts 2.
No,it doesn't, but he's been called. It's not something he went after. God is still calling people as prophets, apostles, teachers, preachers, etc., etc.
