He was nominated from the floor (which is highly irregular) by some Bishop whose name starts with a "K." The two guys who were to replace George originally were relatively Orthodox, hence a power grab by the Old Guard who unfortunately still have quite a following. When will we be rid of these bad bishops (and sadly, they aren't holy good bishops like Thomas a Beckett).
Before I spend more time fuming,and I am fuming,I am hoping to find out who nominated Trautman. Then I think that there are many suspect activities surrounding the electronic balloting and the complement of bishops who can vote on certain issues.
The fact that the exbishop of Phoenix,attended makes me very suspicious. Was he allowed to vote? Certainly he should not have been able to cast a ballot,but his history as a known dissembler and protector of homosexuals leads me to believe that he probably commanderred some machine and cast a ballot for the old guard. Can anyone help with some answers? Thanks.
