I Saw Fire In The Sky

Judy Curmi

2-11-2005

This was a very vivid dream. The dream occurred on a bright sunny day.

I was walking along a black-topped road. My mother and sister Rosie were with me. We were in an upscale salt-water community, perhaps along the coast of California or Florida. Along the sides of the road were guardrails made of steel rods and thick beams of wood painted white, in keeping with a nautical theme.

To our right a ramp went down steeply to wooden docks holding a number of small pleasure craft. Due to the steepness of the ramp, I assumed there was an extra low tide and the tide was out. Right ahead of us the road became a bridge across the water. The length of the bridge was perhaps 75-100 feet.

On the other side of the bridge was more land and a new two story white stucco condominium development. The condos were upscale without being “ritzy”. The condominiums were flying a number of colorful pendants in different colors to advertise that the buildings were now open for inspection and purchase.

There were some people present, both around the condominium development and on our side of the bridge, but it was not crowded with pedestrians.

Suddenly I looked up in the sky, which was a beautiful clear robin’s egg blue. I pointed and said, “Look”! There was a very strange cloud formation. It was a “Tic-Tac-Toe”. The “clouds” were strung together in a long tubular fashion and looked like fluffy marshmallows, whipped egg whites or shaving cream foam.

There was one long stringy cloud set slightly apart from the “marshmallow Tic-Tac-Toe.” I estimate the length of this strange Tic-Tac-Toe at approximately 600 x 600 square feet. It was “up in the air”, but not high up.

Suddenly, along the whole length of the cloud, the single separated individual cloud burst into flames The flames were vivid and very colorful, in shades of red, green, orange, etc. I was reminded of a presto log that has had chemicals added to make “pretty colors” as it burned. Soon the “cloud” began to have black edges – like a roasting marshmallow.

Just after the cloud caught fire and looked like it was melting, it suddenly fell to the ground in one long piece. It fell right in front of the new condominium directly across the bridge, in the direction that we were walking.

As the “cloud” hit the ground it seemed to slither, like a snake or two kids playing together, jerking on a long rope. Luckily the force of the fall caused the flames to be immediately extinguished and no people, cars or buildings had been hit.

My mother turned to go down the boat ramp, but we had to keep going straight ahead, as our destination was on the other side of the bridge, beyond where the “cloud” had fallen.

As we continued to look up, one of the clouds in the actual “Tic-Tac-Toe” suddenly burst into flames. I knew if it fell onto one of the condominiums, the building might catch on fire. I said, “They are practicing!”

I knew whoever was behind this project would keep on working until the pseudo chemical clouds could not be extinguished when they fell to the earth, but would keep burning. Soon they would be used to terrorize populations and start very large fires causing huge property damage and killing or maiming many people.

As I was writing the dream down the thought came to me: “A laser is what will be used to ignite the pseudo chemical clouds”.

Malachi 4:3

Then you will trample down the wicked; they will be ashes under the soles of your feet on the day when I do these things," says the LORD Almighty.

Matthew 22:44

“ ‘The Lord said to my Lord: “Sit at my right hand until I put your enemies under your feet.” ’ [ Psalm 110:1]

Mark 12:36

David himself, speaking by the Holy Spirit, declared: “ ‘The Lord said to my Lord: “Sit at my right hand until I put your enemies under your feet.” ’ [ Psalm 110:1]

Romans 16:20

The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.

Yes scary. My version of the dream I had a 12 guage semi-auto with 8 shells (do not recall which brand but it was black with a heat-shield over the barrel and a tactical flashlight), my dad had an AR-15. I woke up just as I was going to let the lead fly at one of the enemy troops.

I've seen one like that called a Franci SPAS-12, I think it is made in France or Italy, I'm not sure. I'm also into role playing games, again of the post apocalyptic type such as Twilight: 2000 and The Morrow Project so me besides being a bit of a gun enthusiast, I like to keep up with firearms for gaming. One of my online Twilight: 2000 buddies keeps a list of them on his site at http://www.wapahani.com/mle.html

You know what is scary, I'm not the only one with dreams like that as you just brought up. Usually, I don't tell anyone this dream except my close friends and family who really understand the gravity of the situation but since it has been brought up here, I decided to spill the beans. I remember waking up with a bad case of acid reflux with my cold sweat. That is the scariest dream I ever had.

My 90 year old grandmother gets into things like these where she sees omens in the sky and so on, one time she saw something the day before JFK died and a cross in the sky prior to Desert Storm in 1990/91. She took a picture of it. I guess my love of the paranormal, "Art Bell" stuff comes form her. B-)

A side note, "Twilight: 2000" is a role playing game where in the late 1990's/early 2000's, we and the Soviets have World War III, now "alternate history," but the game was written in 1984. "The Morrow Project" is where teams are frozen and supposed to wake up 3 to 5 years after whatever happens to help rebuild the USA but end up waking up 150 to 200 years later.

Hmmm, clouds that catch fire, come to think of it, I've read about something similar in a "Dragon Magazine" (role playing gamer magazine) article on integrating UFO's, the paranormal and other such conspiracies into your gaming campaign. It predates the "X-Files," it was written in 1992. The article was well researched with references and what you describe reminds me of an alleged secret Nazi weapon during World War II. The story from a witness was that a Nazi flying saucer or plane was flying over Italy, sprayed some sort of blue mist around a US B-17/B-24 bomber and the plane's exhaust caught the mist on fire and the plane blew up, sort of like an airborne version of a fuel/air bomb.

Disclaimer, I know this is tin-foil hat territory and I cannot vouch if this is true or false, but I decided to bring this up.

In the last days, Scripture says that He will pour out of His Spirit on all flesh, and your old men shall dream dreams and your young men shall have visions.

YUP.

And, given Scripture

vs

naysayers . . .

I assure you, I'll believe Scripture 100% every time.

The person

WHOM GOD TELLS to speak for God

who then doesn't

is an idiot.

Problem is, there are a lot of people presuming to speak for God, saying; "God told me this.....God told me that", when what this god told them doesn't jive with God's Holy Word the Bible, and the so-called "prophecies" they give never pan out, making them at best deluded and at worst a false prophet.

If anyones presume to speak something directly from God then they had better make sure it is, or be a bigger idiot.

All you have to do is switch on TBN and the Paul and Jan Crouching Toward Gomorrah Show and get a false prophecy a minute, and there is a lot of that going around.

"The person WHOM GOD TELLS to speak for God"

So anyone who says they have a direct line to God should be believed.

Absolutely NOT! We are warned time after time of false prophets and false teachers rising up professing to be the genuine article but inwardly are wolves in sheep's clothing. John the Revelator exhorts us :

1 John 4;

1 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world.

Most of the so-called modern day "prophets" hate to be "tested", they use fear tactics to scare people into believing them carte blanche, by misappropriating one passage of Scripture, "touch not God's annointed", as if it applies to them, when in reality that passage applies to the King whom God has appointed.

Be wary and test the spirits.

http://www.ocf.org/OrthodoxPage/reading/St.Pachomius/Liturgical/didache.html

The DIDACHE is at above URL.

CHAPTER 11
11:1 Whosoever, therefore, shall come and teach you all these things aforesaid, him do ye receive;

11:2 but if the teacher himself turn and teach another doctrine with a view to subvert you, hearken not to him; but if he come to add to your righteousness, and the knowledge of the Lord, receive him as the Lord.

11:3 But concerning the apostles and prophets, thus do ye according to the doctrine of the Gospel.

11:4 Let every apostle who cometh unto you be received as the Lord.

11:5 He will remain one day, and if it be necessary, a second; but if he remain three days, he is a false prophet.

11:6 And let the apostle when departing take nothing but bread until he arrive at his resting-place; but if he ask for money, he is a false prophet.

I remain skeptical that your attitude and perspective evident in your posts hereon

leave you very accurately discerning between

--the thoroughly authentic and accurate
--the mixture due to immaturity, mixed motives but mostly an earnest heart after God
--the fraudulent, counterfeit, evil.

Personally, I think you are deceived by many false doctrines and practices by the charismatic movement, as evidenced by your support of the same here.

Thank you. :-)

The Didache is clear about false prophets as is Scripture, but these days, in charismatic circles, a so-called "prophet" who predicts the future saying it is a prophecy from God is not required to meet the test of Scripture of 100% accuracy 100% of the time, they just have to have a good rap.

Chemtrails.........TV advertisement with a tic tack toe cloud theme.....fears of fire.

Dreams are just dreams.

Everything in that "dream" is common knowledge, being in many forms of media: movies, TV(X Files, etc), radio talk shows(Art Bell) and especially the internet. Dreams resulting from the conscious fasination with those topics are produced by the subconscious all the time. It's called, "power of suggestion".

But there are so many people who want to think they have some "special" power given them by God, so they can immitate their favorite false prophets such as Benny Hinn, that they are deceived into thinking their "dreams" are from God and they have some "special" hotline to God that others don't.

As opposed to Scripture's exhortation to "test the spirits", I believe that "Quix" would have us take these so-called "prophets" carte blanche as being the real article, no matter how many times their "prophecies" are wrong. That's a shame.

Yes, what got my attention was the fact that such dreams are more properly called "visions".

In this case they were called vivid dreams, which seems to indicate the person having them also fears being called a prophet or at the very least..........a bit odd.

Fortunately,I am a realist.:-)

I call-em as I see-um!
