This Sabbath is a Machar Chodesh (When Shabbat falls the day before Rosh Chodesh).

The haftarah portion is I Samuel 20.18-42

Jeremiah, Are you saying this is timely for some particular reason?

I think it's very timely in my life. But what particular reason have you shared it?

Thanks

I'm sorry, but you're wrong. It is true that most Shabbatot that immediately precede Rosh Chodesh is a Shabbat Machar Chodesh and the haftarah you cited is read. HOWEVER, this past Shabbat preceded Rosh Chodesh Nisan and is known as Shabbat HaChodesh. Because of that a special maftir was read (Exodus 12:1-20) and the haftarah was Ezekiel 45:16-46:18.
