LOS ANGELES, California (AP) -- Sky-watchers from the South Pacific to the Americas will witness the first solar eclipse of 2005 on Friday when the moon blots out part of the sun.

It will be a partial eclipse rather than a total one, in which the Earth is cast into darkness. But it will be the last partial solar eclipse visible from the continental United States until May 20, 2012.

Solar eclipses occur when the Earth, sun and moon line up in such a way that the moon casts a shadow over Earth.

Friday's eclipse will last from a few minutes to over an hour, depending on one's location. In much of the continental United States, people will see what looks like the moon taking a bite out of the sun, with the bite bigger over the South.

In Central America and the northern portion of South America, the sun will be reduced to a narrow ring of fire.

Astronomers warned people not to stare directly at the sun without eye protection.

"It's neat to see the moon take a bite of the sun," said Tom Fleming, an astronomer at the Steward Observatory at the University of Arizona in Tucson. "Each eclipse is different because I remember who I was with and where I was when I was watching it."

The path of the eclipse will stretch about 14,160 kilometers (8,800 miles) through a corridor beginning near New Zealand and extending across the Americas.

For a while, the sun will be blotted out completely as the eclipse moves across the open Pacific, but it will be visible only to people at sea.

The next solar eclipse will be October 3, crossing the Iberian Peninsula to Africa.

I'm sorry but I'm ending this travesy you call exposing con artists. While it's been interesting discussing this with you, I've determined that:

#1 You won't change my mind or my heart
#2 I won't change yours

Anyone can twist and turn Scripture for their own purposes. Even you, as I've seen. I don't see you writing any books or on TV preaching to the hungry masses. I don't hear of anyone lining up to hear what you "propose". For all I know, you don't even attend church. For all I know, you just like to sit at the computer and run down every person who doesn't agree with your interpretation of the Bible. Anyone can copy and paste. I went to google something yesterday and Low and Behold. There in all it's "majesty" were things you've been posting. I read it when you posted it and I read it when I googled it. It was almost word for word. The website you spew your hatefulness from. The very one you directed me to. There is a list of all the people the website says are liars from the "pit of hell". I was amazed at whose names were on there. I'd say everyone who proclaims Christ,to be exact. So that only leaves me to believe that, based on the site you directed me to yesterday, you are one of those who has no one to lead you. There was only hate on that web site. I saw not ONE who was "endorsed". Anyone can tear down a Christian Evangelist.

But you failed to answer a few of my questions yesterday. And in that non answer, I saw the truth. You could not name one person who you "think" is speaking the truth. Not one...That's a shame that you have no one to look up to. I'm sorry for that.

So, while it's been interesting, you've left me UNinspired. Why would anyone want to follow any of your "teachings"? You said you were a "teacher" of the Word and have fellowship but couldn't name one Spirit filled person that has inspired you. Oh I suppose you could say to me that God himself inspires you. That's a common thing for all of us to say. And you could say that you look and decide for yourself. Pity. I have a friend who preaches to me like crazy. Real quick to point out my Spiritual lackings. But he neglects to say that he himself smokes, sleeps around and does pot! Yet he states that he studies the Bible and everyone else if wrong and his interpretation is the only right one...In fact, all he does is sit around and run down the preacher. While others on Sunday's will go to church and then eat Fried Chicken for lunch, he will order up some "Fried Pastor" and tell all how wrong the Pastor is and how right he is. How he knows the Bible better than the Pastor. Sound familiar?

They have been tested against the Truth of God's Word, and are found to be heretics of the worst kind, false prophets and false teachers who prey on the ignorant, desperate and weak, just as Scripture says.

It's a shame you won't even check into the information at the site I posted to you and discover the truth about those spiritual con-artists, but it seems you are like so many other charismatics I know, you are not interested in the Truth, nor in acquiring the spiritual dicernment needed to discern the truth from the lies from hell taught by those Word of Faith teachers, but are only interested in preserving your exalted "speaking in tongues", so much so as to defend and believe heresy and false prophets.

I will pray that God open your eyes, ears, mind and change your heart toward the Truth and away from the lies of those snake oil purveyors.
