The Vatican's teachings are very Biblically sound,However there are some Catholic Churches that choose to ignore the truth that the Vatican teaches.
This is a major problem today with all denominations because people want a" Me first feel good "religious environment.
Be careful not to trash the Catholic faith because its roots are very Biblically sound.
All the Major denominations have their share of problems.

Bibically sound? More gay priests all the time, Masses that are but folk-song fests, and people leaving in droves. Somethings missing. And I'll tell you what it is: it's the removal of the veneration to the Saints and Mother Mary as part of the liturgy that has spiritually bankrupted the faithful. How many churches give the Rosary or the Popes Prayer to Saint Michael the Archangel? Very few, and many that do are considered throwbacks. The world (and Catholic Freepers) need the Church Militant today, but it has been heisted by milquetoast humanist clergy.

and you wonder why there weren't that many Florida priests or Bishops coming out publicly for Terri. Why should they, since they embrace a religion that believes in reincarnation where they chant to their god, Om while meditating.
