We had a priest similar to Fr. Altier. Incredibly Orthodox with NO wiggle room. Talk about zero tolerance. I loved him. Many parishoners did not because he didn't tickle their ears and tell them that "God want's them to do whatever they want and not feel bad because he loves them".

Love a priest who calls sin sin.

I don't know. I'm just frustrated. Yet another arrow shot towards the faithful by my ArchBishop. He has defied the Vatican on providing Communion to Rainbow-sashers, he's quieting good Priests and he refuses to listen to his faithful if they oppose his questionable stances.

I have been watching this story. Depending upon what we find out in the next few days as to why the Archbishop is doing this, I think you may have hit the nail on the head.

I am reserving judgment, however, until we know more. I am no fan of Archbishop Flynn, however, he has to know that Fr. Altier's audience is huge thanks to the internet.
