This seems to be an alternate/different version of the news story that I posted earlier today. It has a different emphasis, and it attributes different/other words for the Pope's weekly oration than what was reported in that earlier story. I am unsure ifboth stories were reporting on the same event, or on complimentary ones.

It is interesting because of the Pope's eschatological views, i.e. a different interpretation of the Book Of Revelation than the more popular dispensational view held by many American evangelicals.

All due respect.... BUT....

Yup ... different by a considerable margin in light of the whole Biblical context -- Especially the other apocalyptic authors.

(OT = Daniel & Ezekiel)
(NT = Paul, and the recorded words of Christ in Matthew 24)

Maybe the reporter was getting in the way. The transcripts of his Wednesday audiences for 2006 will end up on this page:
