Sick. sad. Can the pope say/do something about his travesty?
"Post Christian belief system taking over"?
Not among fundamentalist and Orthodox Christians and I know.

The contemporary liturgy celebrates the whole earth as a sacred space by integrating recorded sounds such as the calls of wolves, whales, eagles and seals."I wonder if this means they're Creationists. Why else would anything think the earth is sacred, except that each little bit was purpose-built (as it were) by God?

Good post.... thanks!
Please continue to shine the light on these counterfeit expressions...
Oaths sworn in the name of Gaia, in ancient Greece, were considered the most binding of all.
Hesiod's Theogony (116ff) tells how, after Chaos, arose broad-breasted Gaia the everlasting foundation of the gods of Olympus. She brought forth Uranus, the starry sky, her equal, to cover her, the hills, and the fruitless deep of the Sea, Pontus, "without sweet union of love," out of her own self.
This is idolatry: "pure" (sarcasm,) and simple.
The true Body of Christ should confront this in love -- and avoid these sacraments...
(Which do not seem to be in the least bit Christ-centered -- In my humble opinion)
Al Gore's books/recent movie, et als are germane to the political manifestations of Gaia worship.
Blessings and prayers...

At first glance I thought it meant "gay mass" in LA. Not surprised either way.

I know a young man who thinks the Knights Templar should be re-established to take care of the problems facing the church. I love that boy!

...and in Mahonyland.
Do Catholics who continue to support this archdiocese with their attendance and contributions share in the responsibility for this kind of sacrilige?
I wonder what percentage, if any, of the archdiocese's Masses are licit or even valid?
No way can their boss-man be on the team of the good guys.
