Some of those links are rather graphic.

The Knights Templar were founded to deal with the mohammedans ...

Dealing with these miscreants is a job for the Holy Inquisition. The Tomas de Torquemada Gentlemen's Club was founded to assist this noble endeavour.

I wonder what percentage, if any, of the archdiocese's Masses are licit or even valid?

Have you ever been there?

Just when you think you've seen and heard the worst of Liturgical abuse!

Leave it to California.

You can hear excepts of the Missa Gaia HERE. One COULD interpret "Gaia" imply as a poetic personification,in the same sense as the the third chapter of Daniel:

Sun and moon, bless the Lord; praise and exalt him above all forever.
Stars of heaven, bless the Lord; praise and exalt him above all forever. Etc. etc.

If that's the case, I could enjoy this stuff, perhaps after a glass of wine or two, and lying on the floor (if my arthritic joints permit.) Hey. I'm allowed to be a little outre if I like.

It's like Lennie Bernstein's Mass: a Theatre Piece for Singers. It's art. It's interesting. It might be beautiful in its way. But Liturgy isn;t just anything you want it to be. And no, it's not Liturgy.

Then you should be aware that some parishes are run by lunatics, and some parishes offer the Mass properly, completely, according to the rubrics ... the answer to your question as to whether there are any licit, valid Masses offered in Mahoneyland is emphatically "Yes". And, having been there, you should know that.

Erg. Didn't do much for me, although it beats another chorus of the "Bob the Builder" theme.

Yah. That'll work.

Not even remotely Catholic but no problem...they can write music which illuminates the texts, hey.

Not even Lenny Bernstein got away with that stuff.

Well now that Red Roger and his minions have tossed the Catholic Faith, they might as well worship a new God and make her female. Gaia, Our Mother.

Pardon me while I go throw up.

And that is precisely why they were posted as links :-)

"Post Christian belief system taking over"

Pardon, but I do believe they are of a PRE-Christian religion. This is why many believe this whole movement is much worse than paganism which at least was post-pantheistic.

Druid

I can attest to that. The folk stories Granny told still tickle me with wonder 60 years later.

The Masses I attended while visiting in Mahoneyland were as non-rubrical as most of those here in the home of OCP.
As some of my fellow parishoners have attended the religious ed.conferences as pictured on threads here on FR, I have followed this issue.
I am sure that there are many churches in Mahoneyland, and I can't help but wonder what percentage have licit or even valid Masses.

When I read of such travesties it is sometimes enough to make me despair. But then I remember the Lord's promise. I know these heresies will not prevail but I also know that the faithful must cry out to the Lord " How Long Oh Lord??" We will never be completely rid of the wolves, they are gifted by Satan and his demons.

But we can do battle against them with prayer, fasting and never compromising our declaration of Christ and His gospel. We are never alone with in this battle. All the angels and saints and especially our Blessed Mother go daily to the Throne of God and plea for us.

And even though the battle is long and heartrendering we know that the war was won when as the Creed tells us " Jesus suffered, died, and was buried. On the third He rose again in fullfillment of the Scripture.
