Why, the message is sent into the network by calling the node with the encrypted message as parameter or cookie.

If a node is called, it checks if there are parameters or cookies. If there are, it decrypts the first keysize bits with its secret key and checks if the first 128 bits hash to the second 160 bit. If this is the case, all the following bytes are decrypted using the first 128 bits as symmetric key with an appropriate algorithm, let's say AES. If the decrypted data starts with a To: line that is not on the local machine, it is placed into a spool directory. If the To: line points to the local node, the message is stored in the inbox of the appropriate user. The node then returns the logo as e.g. PNG.

If there are no parameters or cookies, the node chooses a message from its spool directory randomly and creates an HTTP Redirect to the node indicated by the message's address. This Redirect is sent to the client.
