"So, why is no one throwing a fit about these books being missing today?"

****For the same reason baseball fans do not throw a fit when someone tells them, "Marv Thronberry is in the Hall of Fame"***

So, why do some constantly bring up certain books missing from the modern English bibles? I have read those books and they are interesting but not needful, kind of like reading the SHEPHERD OF HERMAS or the Infant Gospels.
One can get all these translations in separate books.

And is your beliefs so tied to those missing books that you loose sight of the other books still in the Bible, namely the New Testament?

And who in the world is Marv Thronberry. (I am not a sports fan)

Because the Catholic Church Canonised the New Testament.
