The foundational realities are starkly different enough

—in Scriptural interpretation;
—social context;
—construction on theological and general realities;
—family associations;
—frames of reference;
—existential factors;
. . .

That it usually takes a significant REVELATION OF HOLY SPIRIT to experience much adjustment in such long held perspectives. This tends to be true on both sides. It tends, in my experience, to be more true with RC’s and maybe Mormons than most others that I’ve had experience with.
