I have to say I think Satan is a real entity, not simply a personification.
(psssst.... I suspect he does also because he is troubled that those of us who follow the leading of the indwelling Spirit may be following Satan appearing as an "angel of light." Then again, having an intellectual debate with P-Marlowe is great fun and very challenging.)
