I’m not aware of anything of the sort you hypothesize happening to me and me “blowing back” so to speak.
I have had, over the last 15 years or so an increasing awareness that . . . all kinds of RELIGIOUS

just does not cut it. All the worse when it detracts from the dialogue, intensity, focus etc. on CHRIST. GOD HAS PUT ALL THINGS UNDER HIM . . . BY HIM WERE ALL THINGS CREATED.
The Marian distractions—at best—have become increasingly greveous to my spirit as I’ve observed the focus, energy, intensity etc. which people divert what should rightly be God’s to her.
I consider it a hideous and insideous seduction of the enemy to siphon off time, energy, focus, adoration etc. that should be CHRIST’S ALONE . . . to His mother. SHE, IF AWARE, MUST BE OUTRAGED AND AT LEAST GREATLY GRIEVED.
Christ did away with layers of priests etc. etc. etc. and an off limits Holy of Holies that we might come directly to Him and via Him even directly to ABBA, DADDY.
INSERTING MARY in the midst of that must really annoy the God-head at a minimum.
Prayer to Christ for our nation and by our nation is greatly needed—leave Mary out of it. She never inserted herself in such a role. Holy Spirit did not insert her. Christ did not insert her. The Father did not insert her.
Political folks for political ends did it. The magicsterical. I’m not impressed.
RELIGION IS DEADLY. RELIGION HAS ALWAYS BEEN DEADLY. RELIGION WILL BE DEADLY UNTIL GOD DOES AWAY WITH ALL SEMBLENCE OF IT.
HE IS AFTER RELATIONSHIP WITH EACH OF US DIRECTLY.
Mary is a distrraction from that . . . AT BEST.

Mary’s probably spinning in her grave (if she has one, that is) at all this misplaced veneration that takes away from her beloved Son.
