He became one in later life and died as one, yes.

Good point. The video never states Darwin is going to hell. That’s not funny. The video is Darwin discovering there is a God in a funny way.

Re:
Sometimes a little comedy makes a point better than 3000 scientists. Today, Bill Clinton again denied... he ever had sex with Charles Darwin.
However, Don Imus... called Darwin a "nappy headed evolutionist."

Its less funny when God tells you what He says. And from all that we understand about the life of Charles Darwin, he turned his back on his faith and on God. If Charles Darwin died apart from the salvation of Christ, than he is in hell. If he died WITH the salvation of Christ, then he is alive in eternal joy with the Lord. The premise of video, and the assertions of the authors is that there is no "if".

Oh, it’s certainly not high end... it’s IMAGES for goodness sake.
But I think it’s great.

It’s light comedy. Try not to think so hard.

For all we know, Darwin is among the elect. There is no “price of admission,” so to speak, except to be chosen (at least according to some). God as Sovereign can call someone at the last millisecond of life.
We can speculate all we want based upon a person’s life, but to my knowledge there are still no advance copies of the Book of Life in circulation.

Personally, I hate the thought of anybody going to hell.

Ask the guy. I emailed him once and he emailed back.

I do not sense such a premise - it is merely operating on two principles. 1) Dying apart from Christ sentences one to eternal suffering and separation and 2) Charles Darwin renounced his faith, and never turned back. Those aren't "principles", they're assumptions, and the aggregate assumptions are the premise. But not if you don't want them to be, I guess.
