Thanks. I’ve already looked up Groom on Mapquest and will make the necessary travel adjustment. I’ve got to see this and share it with the wife and kids. Absolutely amazing.

I love Bob Knight. I grew up in Indiana. I am in Houston Texas now. I tell my friends in Indiana that I moved to Texas cause Coach Knight did.
When I first got to Houston I said I was going to drive to Lubbock and watch some Bobby Knight basketball. I checked it on a map and it is 8 hours from here. Thats like going threw four or five states up north. I was bummed.

I checked it on a map and it is 8 hours from here. 55 minutes on Southwest Airlines.

I think this is the breaking of the bread at the last supper and probably should be placed first in the sequence.

This is awesome, thanks for the ping.
“Texas is a lot bigger then I thought.”
El Paso is closer to California than it is to Shreveport. Good to know Southwest Airlines can get you to Lubbock in under an hour though...and probably for less than it would cost you in gasoline for your vehicle round trip.

That’s a great idea!!
God bless and protect our troops!

Just think how much effort went into this through faith in Christ, in the middle of nowhere, while looking at the recent homosexual parades in San Francisco and consider how many blessings and grace that locale is afforded.
God Bless Texas.
But always through faith in Him, all power, strength, wisdom, riches, blessings, glory, honor and praise, to our Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus.

I really thought this was cool. Yeah, if I am going to Lubbock, I am going to fly.

What an amazing monument!!! We spent a pretty good amount of time there Friday afternoon. Very moving. The pics I took are generally the same as the above, but I did get one that I don't see. I'll post it soon.
The cross is amazingly tall. The information at the site says it's the tallest in the Western Hemisphere. You can literally see it for miles out there in the flatlands.
