Is she to be a planned Jr Co-Redemptrix after Mary’s is solidly implemented sometime the next several years as finalized dogma?

This is why Protestants cringe at statues of silver and gold, and Mary as co-redeemer, and men who kneel to the stock of a tree, regardless of protests that its made of the finest-quality maple or oak.

And angels:

Moreover, any thing or any one - including a spouse or a child - that we love more than God is an "idol.":

Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment.

And the second [is] like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. – Matt 22:37-40

Love God surpassingly above all else! That is the Great Commandment.

If we don't get that right, nothing else will matter.

Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks; I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars: And hast borne, and hast patience, and for my name's sake hast laboured, and hast not fainted.

because you are ridiculing the Divine Mother of his Holy Son, Jesus Christ.

NOT AT ALL. If Mary knows anything of my writings, I suspect she's laughed a good bit--when she's not crying over the blasphemous use her name and personhood are put to.

I don't mind mocking--even feel a level of mandate to fiercely articulate outrage against the mockery against Christ that the Marion blasphemous stuff is.

Someone has to stand up and be counted with the intensity called for by the level of deception, denial, spiritually destructive blasphemy etc. involved.

I have no trouble respecting Mary for the role she took. Her role bearing Christ in earthly form is done. Fini. Completed. Trumping up all manner of blasphemous roles for her contrary to both history AND Scripture is dishonest, blasphemous, did I say blasphemous, horrific, fraudlent etc.

I have read those Scriptural references many times. I still fail to see a Mary immaculately conceived, sinless throughout life, perpetually a virgin, co-redeemer with Christ, Queen of Heaven, bestower of all graces, and Mediatrix between men and Christ. Please provide scriptural references to these extrapolations, preferably from a protestant Bible.

Praise God you do NOT see the blasphemous stuff because it's NOT IN SCRIPTURE AND NOT EVEN IN THE HISTORICAL EARLY CHURCH CONSENSUS of kosher beliefs and practices according to SCRIPTURE!

1. I don't think I'd put it quite that way.

2. I assert that a very significant percentage of RC folk worship Mary in the sense that they put her in a place reserved for Christ alone; They spend time in worship sorts of attitudes and activities toward Mary. They do similarly with symbols, statues, icons of Mary.

3. ACTING OUT SPECIFIC DEEDS AND ACTS OF WORSHIP IS . . . DRUM ROLL, . . . WORSHIP!

4. I doubt that many thinking, sane RC's would admit consciously to construing icons etc. AS GODS. They do have SOME awareness of the 10 Commandments after all. BUT THEIR BEHAVIORS BELIE THEIR CONSCIOUS ASSERTIONS. They treat Mary and such icons as A GODDES AND AS GOD FIGURES. Just as much as Buddhists treat golden statues of the Buddha as an idol. Some Buddhists would assert such is merely a prayer aid, too. Bukt their worship behavior belies the point as much as the Mary worshippers behaviors belie their assertions.

5. It would be arrogance for me to walk on by the other side of the street and pretend that the folks caught up in Marion idolatry were beneath my bother.
