ODESSA, Texas (AP) - A man accused of killing his wife says he was trying to exorcise a demon from her when the devil entered his body and caused her to die, according to a police probable cause statement.
Jan David Clark, 60, was arrested Friday after authorities went to his home and found Susan Kay Clark's body wrapped in a bed sheet with a cross and sword on top of it.
Officers had gone to the home after being told that Clark had called a friend and said his 59-year-old wife was dead, said Sgt. Gary Duesler said the Ector County Sheriff's Office.
Clark told investigators he had his wife pinned face down on a carpeted floor when she died.
Clark was charged with murder and remained in the Ector County jail on Sunday in lieu of $300,000 bail.
He had declined to comment at the jail and it was unclear whether he had an attorney to speak for him.
The woman's body was taken to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner's Office for an autopsy.
Taryn Beck said the couple had seemed to be close.
"They were like an old married couple," said Beck, 29, whose late grandfather was married to Susan Clark. "They would just roll their eyes at each other, but I never thought something like this would've happened."
Hate when that happens ping
Super Yuck!
More of that likely to be happening with the increase in lawlessness and the increase in demon/satan worship and associations.
Scripture says that when the evil are in power, the good hide themselves.
Satan worshippers literally—have been in charge of the globalist efforts for decades.
The fruit of such is surfacing more and more.
They should have went jogging instead to exercise that demon out. Probably was a misprint in the Things To Do When You Have A Demon manual.
‘Satan worshippers literallyhave been in charge of the globalist efforts for decades’...that’s pretty good.
LOL.
They'd be better off sticking with "Demons for Dummies."
The worst part of the movie “The Exorcist” was the part where the priest said, “Take me” to the devil, then jumps out the window. Like that does the job!
Maybe this poor guy saw the wrong movie.
Weigh in?
Not very new information.
“pretty good” ???
imho—
Only if one has a very twisted notion of “good.”
So?
I was commenting on your verbage. I don’t happen to agree.
Time will tell.
Quite a lot of evidence—e.g. reports of folks who’ve been close enough to know—has come out in the last year affirming my convictions on the matter.
I would guesstimate that in the last 45 years plus . . . I’ve read more than 25 different reports to that effect.
Besides that, it’s congruent with Scripture’s assertions as to who’s going to head up the world government.
So, for me, it’s a no-brainer.
"The Exorcist" was loosely based on a true story. That particular part of "The Exorcist" was 100% fiction, however.
“A man accused of killing his wife says he was trying to exorcise a demon from her when the devil entered his body and caused her to die...”
So he killed her for whatever reason, staged the body, and is giving the police an religious excuse. ~Like that will work to mitigate the charge.
This isn’t the first time that one’s been used.
I guess our brains are different.
Undoubtedly.
I also doubt you’ve studied the topic for 45+ years.
Yup, that sort of stuff should be left to experienced practitioners....:)
AT THE VERY LEAST
someone who is absolutely confessed up; repented up; prayed up and CERTAIN of their authority in Christ’s Name and Blood.
You are correct. If I had, then I would probably be a believer...or it would have been a huge waste of time.
Time will tell.
Has a lot of pros and cons on it . . . and a wealth of evidence, as well.
